le cake

double denim bbq tonight in honour of fee's birthday. i offered my services for cake duty which made no sense as i cant cook! but....

ok i havent tasted it yet but i think it (she) looks AMAZING! high fives all round its very exciting.
i documented the decorating with a couple of snap shots!

its a chocolate cake, packet mix of course, and we had a bunt tin which bakes the cake with a hole in it! anyone wanting to make a barbie cake seriously get one of these!
the icing! betty crocker vanilla in a tub! its all about cheating here!! its really tasty and thick! i dyed it blue...in honour of the double denim theme of the party!
ps dear food dye makers why dont you make the bottles with dropper lids!! i had a dropper at home and it made colouring the icing so easy!
decorations are smarties and the pink rosettes come from a can!! its a can of icing you can buy at the supermarket with different nozzels! i know!
and i'm boring you all now but i'm very excited about how she turned out.
