but here we are! friday! and in honor of the occassion i have this delish giant freckle to celebrate!
i've hosting a morning tea with the girlies tomorrow morning and will attempt for the first time EVER to make scones! pray for me!

these are my wish list items of the day and i know i have been harping on about summer but this therese rawsthorne jacket that i snapped in my yen mag is to die for it would never leave my body! i would sleep in it!

the weekend is over! they go so quickly!
but it was a fun one! even though a little to much wine was involved!

a spot of diy! my new blackboard that now graces the kitchen wall!

choc orange tarts! super easy but it helps if you remember to cook the pastry! safe to say they went un-eaten but they did look pretty! better luck next time!

home made pizza on friday night! yum!!!! you cant bet them! goats cheese, mushrooms, chilli and rocket!

love love love all the spring summer lookbooks that are starting to pop up everywhere! they are definately helping me get through the cold days! dreaming of sunshine, shorts and swims!

a beautiful silver stamped 'b' necklace for the arrival of my bubbly boy in june and an ice cold bottle of veuve to celebrate...what a better way to enjoy a miserable winters saturday night!

oh.what.a.night.

soooo on saturday night milk & i finally got to give C her 'push present'
C & johnny welcomed their beautiful baby boy bobbi into the big wide world on the 4th of june and that certainly was reason to celebrate and was of course worthy of a bottle of verve!
the three of us sipped it in C's vintage champagne glasses over cheese, crackers and candle light and it was just sooo nice!

and her 'push presnet' from us was a silver stamped b pendant, ill get her to post a pic! L xo

sunny days

i can not seem to keep my mind of summer at the moment! i've forgotten winter, left it behind! i'm thinking dresses, shorts, sandals...hurry hurry!
summer calls for a new pair of sunglasses i say! seeing as last years are probably scratched and salted from days at beach!

its been a good day! i spotted a ruby grapefruit in the fruit shop and couldnt resist! they make me think of summer and remind me of my holiday in greece years ago where i used to pick them up as a snack for the beach!
and...finally OH Mexico! i have been waiting for this book to arrive for weeks and i can not wait to get stuck into it! love and adventure in mexico city! the story of lucy an australian gal who heads to mexico with little money and little spanish in her vocab! ill let you know how it goes but i've heard LOTS of good things about it! Lox
