Born February 27th in 1932, she is known for her movies and marriages.

Her stunning dark looks, and Hollywood lifestyle made her an icon of the Hollywood golden age. She is considered a female legend to the American Film Institue, and she was the first actress ever to receive a $1,000,000 salary for a role in a movie, which was for her fee for Cleopatra.

Her beauty is striking, and it’s been rumoured that she was born with a mutation that caused double rows of eyelashes!! Thus, the incredible eyes!

She has now been married at total of 9 times!! At 78 years of age she married husband number 9 last year in 2010. He was 30 years her junior.

Ms Taylor was married to British actor Richard Burton not once but two times. He bought her two of the world's largest diamond rings. The first was an engagement 33.19 carat diamond ring!! For her 40th birthday he splashed out $1.1 million dollars for the heart shaped 69.42-carat diamond! Wowa!

After they divorced for the 2nd time Taylor sold the heart shaped diamond for $5 million!! A large portoion of the money she donated to charity.

Elizabeth Taylor was named Dame of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth in 1999, she has 4 children, 2 sons and two daughters from a range of her many husbands and she is now grandmother to 9!

Her bestie was Michael Jackson and one of her weddings featured on his ranch. And as it seems to go in Hollywood she rehab, Betty Ford of course and she once tried to commit suicide.

Along with Princess Di, Elizabeth Taylor has appeared solo on the cover of People magazine a total of 14 times
