yes, yes it is.... the pasta bow earring! ...carbohydrate couture anyone?

the ruby slipper

we have all seen and loved the wizard of oz. the ever beautiful judy garland made it a classic and we all dreamt of having a turn of the ruby slippers!
now the coveted slippers are estimated to sell for at least $2million!

the slippers are one of four exsiting pairs created for the 1939 film. they are apparently in mint conditon with only a couple of scuffs on the sole. curtators are saying they are one of the greatest pieces of pop culture in existence and there is nothing more famous! amazing!

dinner is served! homemade ravioli with fetta and roast pumpkin... its a must try ladies.

how it goes...
you will need
- block of firm fetta cheese
- 2 x punnets of cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 butternut pumpkin
- fresh rosemary
- fresh basil
- fresh lasagne sheets
- parmesan cheese to serve

- 1 egg white

first dice your pumpkin and roast in the oven with olive oil, salt and fresh rosemary.
next halve all your cherry tomatoes and put them in your pot with olive oil, simmer on low with the lid on until the tomatoes have broken down and you have created a sauce.

place your roasted pumpkin in a bowl with crumbled fetta. then lay out squares of your fresh lasagne sheets so that you have equal amounts of bottoms and tops, spoon your mixture into the centre on each square, then top each bottom sheet with a top sheet so you have created little pillows. press down the edges, use a litttle egg white around the edges to seal and whola, all you have to do now is gently cook your pillows and top with your cherry tomatoe sauce and fresh basil.... enjoy!

our very special friend 'moo girl' turned one last week. what a why to celebrate with a 'real' party... were talking fairy bread, lol's chocolate crackles, marshmellows, honey joys, pink cake, watermelon and lemonade... not to mention all us big kids decked out in party hats! woo hoo!

it was our beautiful Amelies 1st birthday on saturday and we celebrated in the sunshine at the park with fairy bread, party hats and ice cold watermelon.
i made chocolate crackles....whats a party without crackles right?! i was blown away at how easy they were to make! they toke about 10mins!


copha is basically the main ingredient which sticks everything together and it has the recipe for crackles on the packet! too easy!

rice bubbles, coconut, icing sugar and cocoa make up the dry ingredients then you just mix in the copha after you have melted it and....

ta da! chocolate crackles! they set in the fridge within an hour!

sass and bide debuted summer 2012 range in london last week and as usual its got us going crazy and we are madly in love with everything and want it all and we need a yellow necklaces asap!
the ladies always combine texture and pattern so perfectly and we are loving the pops of bright colour x

thank you to all our amazing friends who helped us celebrate another birthday! we had such a great night, lots of drinks, lots of dancing and lots of giggles!
we went out for pizza and the manager kindly cleared some tables for us so we would have some where to dance after the 10th bottle of wine kicked in, not to mention the espresso martinis and the lemonchello shots he treated us to!
